Claire E. Rider made the bright lights of Liverpool her home. With a career in further education, tourism and marketing, she relished her role as marketing manager at National Museums Liverpool. A born-and-bred Scouser, Neil McDonald was a phone engineer for British Telecom, connecting housing estates across the city. He left and became a Resort Manager in France. Claire and Neil both re-trained as Blue Badge Tourist Guides, delighting guests with their knowledge and lively personalities. Together they established and ran Brilliant Tours and Beatleswalk very successfully for seven years. Claire plans to return to education but they both enjoy being freelance tourist driver guides in Liverpool and across the UK.
